Psychoeducation Assessment

Our Services

The Psychology Services Center (PSC) offers a variety of assessment services for children and young adults (<25 years).  The center currently offers asessment services for:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivty Disorder (ADHD)
  • Autism
  • Developmental delay
  • Learning disabilities
  • Traumatic brain injury

Each assessment is tailored to meet the needs of the client, but generally assessment services include the evaluation of cognitive, behavioral and adaptive areas of development as well as measures specific to the area of concern. A comprehensive written report is provided to parents that includes recommendations regarding appropriate intervention and treatment services.

Diagnosticians

Diagnosticians are post-doctoral fellows and advanced doctoral students in clinical-community or school psychology at the University of South Carolina.  All diagnosticians are under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
