Child and Family Therapy

Many families seek support from professionals to help them cope with stressful situations.  Our goal at the PSC is to help parents and children learn better skills to cope with or change problematic thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so that they can live more effectively now and in the future.  We offer a range of support services.

Some of the most common problems we provide intervention services for include:

  • Difficulty paying attention
  • Difficulty following directions
  • Arguing or fighting
  • Nervousness or anxiety
  • Other mood problems
  • Stress caused by medical problems
  • Highly threatening life events (e.g., death of a loved one, car accidents, or exposure to violence)
