Research interests: My research has focused on program evaluation and implementation science, as they relate to improving quality implementation of initiatives in non-profit, governmental, and healthcare organizations.

What do you like best about UofSC? I love the friendly and supportive community of graduate students.

What is one of your favorite things to do in Columbia? Taking my dog for walks along the Three Rivers Greenway


Tara is a doctoral student in the Clinical-Community Psychology program at the University of South Carolina. She completed her undergraduate education at Boston University in 2012, where she majored in Psychology and Neuroscience. After graduating, Tara worked as a Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Pediatric Psychopharmacology and Adult ADHD Clinical and Research Program. Tara’s interests broadly include program implementation, evaluation, and improvement and improving mental health in communities. She currently works under the mentorship of Dr. Abe Wandersman on several projects, including assessing readiness of organizations to adapt innovations and understanding factors that contribute to the sustainability of innovations.
