McCausland Center

With initial Center of Excellence funds, gifts from both the Palmetto Richland and Greenville Hospital systems and matching funds from Peter J. McCausland, a ’71 USC graduate, McCausland Center provides USC faculty, as well as collaborative and externally funded researchers, the ability to perform high-resolution brain imaging studies in the Columbia, SC area. 

Parenting & Family Research Center (PFRC)

The nurturing of children is the single most important task of society. The Parenting & Family Research Center conducts studies aimed at understanding and promoting the well-being of children in the context of family, school and community.

Psychology Services Center (PSC)

The Psychological Services Center (PSC) is a service, training, and research facility of the Psychology Department at the University of South Carolina. The PSC is a non-profit facility established in 1965 in order to provide assessment and treatment services to the University of South Carolina community and the Columbia Metropolitan area.

Institute for Mind and Brain

Unlocking the mysteries of the mind-brain connection is one of the great scientific challenges of the 21st century. The University of South Carolina is poised to become a world leader in cognitive neuroscience research with the establishment of the Institute for Mind and Brain.
